Tuesdays

Fayre for Women

1 - 3:30pm, Tollcross Community Centre

We are a self-educating group of mostly retired women and we plan our own programme of classes and events. We invite speakers, have talks given by members, and also visit interesting places. We support each other and share useful information.

Local  Economy Group

5:30 - 7:30pm, Tollcross Community Centre

The Local Economy Group is a space for learning about Edinburgh's economy. It explores issues such as Council funding, austerity, housing and political exclusion and asks the question, 'how do changes in the Old Town affect local people?'

Thursdays

Glory and Dismay

7 - 9pm, Tollcross Community Centre

Share your football stories and memories. Build your writing skills, improve your communication skills and meet other fans through the game you love. These courses will include guest speakers, recording methods and occasional events.

Fridays

Aye Write!

2 - 4:30pm, Tollcross Community Centre

Have you been writing away on your own for a while or do you just need a bit of focus to get started? This project offers you the chance to write, share and develop through poems, stories, and monologues, as well as practical ways to get your words out to the public. No experience is necessary.
